To get on to the island you are more than likely going to use one of Caledonian MacBraynes feries which can be booked through www.calmac.co.uk there are ferry terminals in Leverburgh, Tarbert and Stornoway.
I have been out on the Lady Catherine with Hamish several times now and it is an experience not to be missed, Hamish has wonderfull local knowledge and every trip is always different. Leverburgh is the departing point for Sea Harris who sail daily to the enchanting islands of St Kilda.
